Video Review

1. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.

• The video, The Lowdown on Lowbrow: West Coast Pop Art was very interesting. A few concepts I learned was the word Lowbrow were for images and/or painting that incorporate naked women. During this time the comprehension of art was so much more simple, this was because rarely is the an underlying meaning. In the second video presented Tate Modern I learned of the artist Monet has a specific style of painting. She paints within another painting. This was cool to me because I believe someone with great skill would be able to achieve this.

2. Do the videos relate to the creation of your Art Exhibition project? If yes, explain how. If no, explain why not.

• I believe the creation relates to my Art Exhibition project because I would like the allow my viewer to create their own interpretation of my work rather than creating one for them.

3. What is your opinion of the films? Do they add depth to the understanding of the art concepts you practiced while creating your curation project?

• As I was watching the video I found a lot of the information came as a surprise to me. The video was extremely informative, it provided many details and examples that gave me a better understanding.
