1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces?
- I selected these three inspirational pieces based off how they made me feel while looking at them. These photos evoked positive emotions.
2. Why did you select the media to create your self-portrait?
- I decided on using pencil to create my self-portrait because I would be easy to mistakes rather than any other media.
3. What challenges did you face in creating your self-portrait and how did you overcome them?
- The hardest part of creating my self-portrait was realizing it didn't have to be perfect. I just strived to do my best.
4. How does this piece represent you?
- This piece represents me because I was able to include pieces of who I am as a part of my self-portrait.
5. What elements and principles of art did you apply in this work?
- Line, shape, value, space and balance.
6. Did you enjoy working on this project?
- I enjoyed working on this project because of how It made me feel. I may not be the best artist but it’s fun to do something I don't normally do, it’s a great stress reliever.
7. What do you think of your final artwork?
- I like it because I tried my best.
