Reflection Journal

This was a lot of work but it was an interesting project to complete. Once I knew I wanted my theme to be historical figures, which I came up with from the utilizing the course resources file and visiting www.googleartproject.com, the rest began to fall into place. As I was searching for artwork I decided to include not only recent historical figures or figures of just one gender but, instead I selected them at random. I did this to push the idea that historical figures come in many forms.

For this assignment I completed the work in sections. I began by gathering all the historical figures I planned to add, found distinctive pieces of art, then moved on to the writing portion of the assignment. The descriptions and listing of the elements/principles were the most tedious part of all. After gathering all I needed to complete my exhibit, I then moved onto the creation of the PowerPoint, and transferred all the information found.

In conclusion, I had lots of fun creating this powerpoint. I loved researching more about important people I didn't know much about and seeing them represented in art.
