Mask

Mask 1: This Mask is called the Dayak hudoq mask. It was made to resemble a mythical boar, bird and dragon. This mask is colored in mainly white, red and, black paint. This mask shows strong dominance while being extremely unique in its style. I chose this mask to help inspire with the uniqueness.

Mask 2: This is a Germany witch mask. This Is typically a carnival mask but is also used during the women's carnival. This mask is made of plastic but formed to look like a human. Although it looks like a human the creator of the mask provided distasteful features to allow the mask to look more scary. I chose this mask because of the color I want my mask to be unique but also very natural  looking.

Mask 3: This mask is extremely colorful. The primary colors green, blue, and red are incorporated with a hint of gold. This mask resembles a human face, with features such as the head, eyes, nose and mouth. I used this mask because of its beauty I hope to incorporate that in my own mask.

I used my sketchbook to create my mask. I didn’t use plenty colors to create my mask, I used a combination of the colors black, grey and white. I thought the finish product could would have been different, I had difficulty with the originality of my mask.
